Candace K. Washington is the Judicial Administrator for the 23rd Judicial District Court. She is a graduate of Columbia Southern University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Master of Science in Organizational Leadership.

 A lifelong resident of Ascension Parish, Candace previously worked with Ascension Parish Clerk of Court and the Orleans Parish Juvenile Court before joining the 23rd Judicial District Court in 2020.  In April of 2025, Candace was sworn in as the secretary for the Louisiana Court Administrators Association. She is also an active member of the National Association for Court Management, Omega Nu Lambda National Honor Society, the National Society of Leadership & Success and Columbia Southern University’s Alumni Association.  Candace’s spiritual journey began at a very young age under the leadership of Pastor Isaiah J. Webster at Greater New Guide Baptist Church. She is currently a member of Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
